this server has ver 6.5 sp6
apache is 2.0.59 so that should be ok
how do I check version on winsock?

Also when I right click on sys and say purge it brings up thousands of
temp files. could this be the problem?

thanks

Sorry for the delay

The post SP6 patches are listed on that wiki link. There you can see
the parts to do with the winsock and see the date / version details.

Purging is good, but to be honest not the cause of your problems

Your problem is almost certainly with the SCC Viewer files and
attachments (probably PDF files) causing the abend. By using
protected memory then when this blow up, the server will simply
restart the address space.
